Math Can Brighten Your Day

I’ve been working for the past 12 hours…. and I just thought I’d describe what those hours have been like:

There is nothing like getting paid 7.25/hour to sit behind a desk and wait for someone to ask you a question or to need help with a problem. I’ve been sitting here reading books and tumbling/facebooking since 7:00PM yesterday. When do I get off you ask? Not until 12PM. So far, no one has needed me for anything… I’m pretty sure that no one is even staying in my building.

Now for the math:

$7.25/hour x 17 hours = $123.25

I can honestly say that I feel as though I’ve done a great job deserving of this prize.
